Steps down from the main house, lead to the swimming
pool and terraces with their amazing views to the
El Torcal National Park. There is a pool house, which
has a kitchen, toilets with showers & sauna,
and a home cinema room. Leading off from the kitchen
is a large covered dining terrace, with the most amazing
views, fully equipped with dining table and chairs
for up to 20 people, and a bar with fridges.
From the poolside terrace there is access to the helicopter
pad and below this an all weather artificial grass
tennis court. Tennis lessons can
be arranged locally with ex British Davis
Cup tennis player John Paish.
The Alhaja Annex
There is an additional annex, which is accessed from the inner
entrance courtyard, offering a further 2 en-suite bedrooms, a
living room and private terrace with jacuzzi, sunbeds and
sitting area.
From the Hacienda you can enjoy natural beauty and restorative
qualities of the glorious Andalucian countryside, or simply
melt into a sun lounger by the pool and lose yourself in a
good book – or the view!
Hacienda La Alhaja Onsite Facilities
For the ultimate pampering experience a local masseur can be
booked for aromatherapy and sport
massages or reflexology treatment.
The therapist will be available by appointment. We can also
organise private pilates lessons for our guests
during their stay. Then there is our sauna room,
poolside jacuzzi, 12 x 6 metre heated
swimming pool and, for the more energetic, our all
weather artificial grass tennis court and mountain
bikes for you to explore the surrounding countryside. There
are plenty of hiking and walking trails around the
area. Walking maps can be provided for guests of the Hacienda.
Local Amenities
Horse Riding for groups of 2 or more can be arranged
locally, along with Clay Pigeon Shooting,
Quad Bike Tours, and Motorcross Bike Tours.
For golf enthusiasts, the Antequera Golf Course is
located just 16 kms away from the Hacienda. Clubs can be rented from the
golf club.
Communications
The house telephone is available for local telephone calls only. There
is mobile phone coverage for most networks. Internet access at no extra
charge. NB: due to our rural location the connection
is via a mobile phone and is slow. |
