All traffic has to leave the airport in the same
direction.
Follow the signs to Málaga going
over the bridge. About a mile from the airport
you will go under a footbridge, move into the right
lane and follow the exit signposted Antequera.
( Be careful here as the Antequera sign indicated
here is for an exit 500 metres further on).
This
will bring you on to the ring
road. Once on the
ring road, follow the sign for Antequera
& Granada,
taking you on to the A-45.
Once on the A-45 continue for approx 35
kilometres and
exit at nº 124, marked Casabermeja
& Colmenar.
Come down off the motorway
and you will see a petrol
station in front of you.
Go past the petrol station and follow signs for
Casabermeja and Villanueva
de la Concepcion. This
will take you back under the motorway. After
you pass under the motorway you will come immediately
to a roundabout.
Set your kilometre gauge
at 0 at the roundabout junction and then turn
right at this roundabout.
Now follow this road, and
signs to Almogia. At 1.4
km the road divides
into 3 parts . Take the middle
road and you will
reach a T-junction. Turn
left following the sign
for Villanueva de la Concepción.
This road will take you all the way to the Villanueva. You
will automatically come to a T-junction at the
top of the village.
Turn left, following signs
to La Joya and La
Higuera. After 1.9km you
will see a right-hand turn,
signed La
Joya and turn
right here. After 3
kilometres you will come
to the entrance of the Hacienda La Alhaja. |
